The lovely Gina Caro over at Cold Tea and Smelly Nappies tagged me in her post If I Could Have Just One Room. Well, I just had to do my own version as I’m so often thinking about this whilst knee deep in washing, cooking and baby duties. “If Only I Could Have Just One Room….? *Sigh* “
Many of my images came from the hours I have wasted on Pinterest thinking about this very thing! In my version, my perfect room would smell of magnolia or lavender. It would be a huge bright airy room with floor to ceiling windows to cover the space in a blanket of light. It would be big enough for a huge comfy sofa so I could actually sit and read a book…right through to the end. There would be flowers everywhere, in quirky containers (I love the bicycle planter). This room would be big enough to house my entire art studio in the other half of it. On every wall would be inspiring paintings and prints from all my favourite designers and artists. This inspiring space would be calm yet creatively inspiring. Oh and I’d have a cleaner to keep it tidy and meals on wheels to deliver some yummy snacks.
The idea for this meme came from The Reading Residence. Asking
If you could have just one room, all to yourself, what would be in it? What colours would you choose? What would it smell like?
It’s my turn to pass it on and tag some more bloggers. Can’t wait to read more posts on this so link your post up at The Reading Residence
